The End of May

I am checking off the boxes one by one.  Finished radiation and started Tamoxifen.  This is a pill I will most likely be on for 10 years, and it comes with its own set of side effects.  Hot flashes, nausea, headaches.  Yay! (Hear the sarcasm)  Again, small price to pay for being alive, and the good news?  There's a pill to treat the side effects.  (I would insert the eye roll emoji here, but this program doesn't have one.)

Overall, I feel pretty good, minus the constant nausea and headache, and being really, really tired all the time.

In other news, yesterday was the last day of school for the kids and I am so happy!  No more packing lunches!  I am happy about our time together too, but that packing lunch thing was about to send me over the edge!!!

Atleigh finished kindergarten.

Tristan finished his first full year of preschool.

And this guy has been causing us a lot of stress lately.  He has been really sick and the vet can't find out what is wrong with him.  He has improved this week, but still no answers.
