RAD! (In the 1980's cool way)

Well, I can check that box off!  I am done with radiation.  Thirty-three sessions of skin burning, cancer curing/causing radiation.  I am glad it ended when it did because I don't think my skin could have taken any more.  Things were fine one day and then not so the next.  But, it's over and I can move on to the next steps.


I will start tamoxifen in about three weeks.  This is a pill I will be on for 10 years.  It has it's own wonderful side effects so that should be fun.  

I had chemo last week.  My white count is still low, but not too bad.  So, all in all, things are good.  Other than having burned skin and being tired I can't complain!

To celebrate I got to ring the bell and then we went out to dinner, got ice cream, and went to the park of course!  Because how else do a 6 year old and a 2 year old celebrate!
