Cancer Services of New Mexico

This is an organization in New Mexico that helps cancer patients, like myself and my family. They work on donations and sponsors only.  Out of every $1.00 donated, .95 goes to fund programs for cancer patients.

Chemo round 5....

Well, round 5 is done.  This was the first round with the new drugs.  My time spent at the chemo suite was shorter, so that was nice, but I am not feeling great, but that was to be expected.

Not a lot of cancer/chemo news to update on right now.

On another note, today is Tristan's birthday!  So we will be celebrating all week!!  Atleigh is doing great in kindergarten, which is a huge relief.  She has a wonderful teacher and we are so thankful.  She is dealing well with the whole cancer thing, which is good to.  When she tells people about it say says, "My mom has breast cancer." Like it's no big deal.  And I love it.  It's not a secret.  It's not scary.  It's just what it is.
